Punished! by David Lubar (Darby Creek Publishing, 2006) is a fun read.  Logan is being punished for running in the library.  His punishment is that everything he says comes out as a pun.  People, including his best friend, are getting very tired of it.  His quest to end his days of punning include finding oxymorons, anagrams and palindromes.
